This K-beauty serum contains antioxidants and other ingredients specifically aimed at reducing sun damage such as dark spots. The key ingredient, glutathione, is something I’ve never tried before. Apparently, it is an antioxidant tri-peptide that naturally occurs in the body but decreases with age similarly to collagen and niacinamide. I like that this serum also contains niacinamide, panthenol, vitamin C, beta-glucan and various plant extracts–all ingredients to which my skin has responded well in the past. I especially like that this serum is unscented.It is milky white with a medium consistency, and it absorbs quickly into skin. It comes properly sealed in a dark amber glass bottle with a glass dropper. The best by date is almost three years from the date I received this. I haven’t used this long enough to notice a significant reduction in spots, but my skin is brighter and I haven’t experienced any irritation. So far, I’m really enjoying this serum.

Numbuzin No. 5 Vitamin Concentrated Serum 1.01 fl oz4 ½ stars rounded up to 5. This “vitamin concentrated serum” arrived in a branded, sealed box with text (and ingredients) in English and Korean. The 1.01 fl oz / 30 ml dark amber bottle is the preferred protective color and it arrived with a cap, but an eyedropper was included.I’ve been using this milky white, thin serum for almost three weeks. There’s no scent to my nose. The serum didn’t feel oily on my acne-prone, combination skin and it spread easily. A thin layer absorbed within a few minutes for me (I quickly learned to go light, or my skin would feel tacky), and I followed it up with a light moisturizer containing SPF 30. My skin liked this antioxidant-rich serum, and I haven’t experienced any irritation or spots from using it.I ordered this serum because it doesn’t contain any “icky” ingredients and the list of great ingredients is impressive. My skin likes products with niacinamide/vitamin B3 (anti-acne), I could use some skin brightening (this has several helpful ingredients), and I like to use an antioxidant-rich serum during the day (lingonberry fruit extract, alpha-arbutin, chinaberry, turmeric root extract, several forms of vitamin C, glutathione, vitamin E, coenzyme Q10, and alpha-lipoic acid). The probiotic (bifida ferment lysate), adaptogen (holy basil), and various moisturizing and soothing ingredients are also appreciated.The bottle I received in July 2023 was marked EXP 20260528 and an icon states the serum is good for 12 months after opening. The box and bottle aren’t marked cruelty free, but from what I’ve read the company doesn’t test on animals or sell its products to China (where testing is required). Made in Korea.
